Capital Campaign
A Capital Campaign consists of single-, multi-year, or planned (estate) gifts given in addition to Annual Giving and designated to support specific goals, programs, and projects identified by the Board of Trustees in the school’s Strategic Plan.
As of August 2007, Epiphany School donors have contributed over $7.2 million towards the goal of $11 million.
Above and beyond Epiphany’s need for yearly operating support is its need to plan and provide for the School’s long-term health. The School’s operating budget does not address the necessity for significant facility improvements or increased endowment. These needs must be met by those members of the community who can make a capital gift in addition to their Annual Fund contribution.
At Epiphany School, capital campaigns have been conducted to build the Sander-Alvord Gymnasium and to acquire and renovate Reed Hall, Augustine Hall, and Spock Hall. Without these significant fundraising efforts of the past, current students would not enjoy the facilities Epiphany now has.
The School is now in the midst of the Building the Future Capital Campaign to acquire and renovate property adjacent to Epiphany’s campus, which will be converted to classrooms. As of August 2007, Epiphany School donors have contributed over $7.2 million towards the goal of $11 million. The next public phase of the campaign will be launched in the spring of 2008.
