Campus Master Plan

Shaping the Future of Epiphany School

Epiphany's beautiful campus in the heart of Seattle has been a warm, welcoming place for our students to learn and grow for more than 65 years. Over the decades, the campus has benefited from a unique blend of residential and institutional spaces that has enabled us to accommodate shifting priorities over time. And now, we're embarking on an exciting campus expansion that will help us create an even stronger foundation for our students and the students yet to come.

After thoughtful review and careful consideration, Epiphany School's Board of Trustees has approved a forward-thinking campus renovation project. The school is currently collaborating with a project manager, architecture firm, and construction company to continue to move the project forward.

We anticipate breaking ground on a year-long construction project in summer 2026. To learn more about our commitment to respecting our neighbors and maintaining a safe environment around the school, please take a look at our Good Neighbor Policy and Campus Traffic Management Plan.

Epiphany School Campus Master Plan: Master Use Permit

Our Campus Master Plan addresses our entire campus, including construction of a new school building as well as enhancements of some of our existing spaces. We are excited to have submitted our Master Use Permit, which starts the long permitting process for the new building in particular. The physical updates include:

  • A new building that will house a center for STEM, arts, and athletics
  • A complete renovation of our outdoor play and learning spaces
  • A purpose-designed learning center that will house our Learning Skills program and foster greater teacher collaboration

Anticipated Timeline for Campus Master Plan

A major building project is a complex, multi-year process that includes five carefully sequenced phases: conceptual design; schematic design; design development; construction design; and construction. We are now in the design development phase. During this phase, our team is collaborating with our architects at Mithun, project managers at Pine Street Group, and Sellen Construction to further develop and refine the overall layout and design of the campus, ensuring that it aligns with our vision for an innovative and collaborative learning environment.
