Anytime between late August and mid-January you can inquire, schedule a group tour (there are many options throughout the fall and winter), and complete your application before the January 16, 2025 deadline. Starting the process early ensures a broader range of options for scheduling your assessment and interview dates.

Yes! Through annual fundraising and our $13 million endowment, we are able to provide financial support to accepted students whose families apply and qualify for aid. The average financial aid award for 2022/23 was $24,178. Financial aid awards do not need to be repaid. Please go to our Financial Aid page to learn more.

Yes, pre-kindergarten students must be four years old by September 1. Kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1.

Every grade level has two or three classes. Each of our pre-k classrooms typically has a range of 15-18 students, with a lead teacher and a full- time instructional assistant in each classroom and a third assistant providing additional support, connection, and consistency across each classroom. Each of our kindergarten classrooms typically has a range of 18-20 students, with a lead teacher and instructional assistant in each classroom. Our student/teacher ratio across the school is approximately 6:1.

The school day begins at 8:25 am and ends at 3:10 pm for pre-k through second grade and 3:15 pm for third through fifth grade. Epiphany School has a long history of parent and guardian involvement. All families automatically become members of the Epiphany Parent Council (EPC) and are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways. There are myriad opportunities to get involved, from reading in the classroom to chaperoning a field trip to co-chairing our auction. We also invite families to share special traditions, holidays, and experiences with our students, whether leading a dissection in the science lab, helping kindergarteners make diyas for Diwali, volunteering as a grade level representative, or supporting one of the many events that take place in our community.

Uniforms are an Epiphany School tradition. We believe they contribute to our school's strong sense of community and allow students to focus on their learning. Epiphany School supports its family community with a dedicated sibling policy. Siblings of students currently enrolled at Epiphany School are given preference for admission consideration. Sibling applicants must adhere to the school’s age requirements as well as demonstrate academic and emotional readiness for admission.

We maintain a wait pool throughout the spring and summer of the admission year. Students who qualify for our program but are not admitted due to space are placed in our wait pool if requested by the parent(s)/guardian(s). If space becomes available, students may be called out of the wait pool.

Most Epiphany School graduates attend independent middle schools in the region; others choose to attend their local public school. Our comprehensive Middle School Placement program supports families and students throughout the middle school application process to ensure students maximize their choices and find the school that fits them best. Schools our students typically matriculate to include Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences (SAAS), The Bush School, Lakeside School, The Northwest School, University Prep, Forest Ridge of the Sacred Heart, Lake Washington Girls Middle School, Seattle Girls' School, Seattle School for Boys, Eastside Preparatory School, Billings, and Overlake.

Epiphany School is entirely independent and has no religious affiliations. Epiphany School was started by the church in 1958 and became fully independent soon after. The school and the church enjoy a neighborly relationship. On occasion we rent the Great Hall and other spaces from the Parish for our school performances, community meetings, and fifth grade graduation.
