"telegraph" All-School Art Masterpiece

By Beth Colombo, Anne Janda, and the students of Epiphany School.  Screen Print by Andrew of Broken Press 24 x 36.  Framed.
*** Note, the top left photo is the artwork unframed. The final framing will be in gold as illustrated in the bottom right photo.***

Morse code is a detailed system of dots, dashes, and spaces used to represent numbers, punctuation, and letters of the alphabet. Each student received a Morse code lesson in which they were asked to convert their name to Morse code and answer a series of personal questions.

The result was a single masterpiece as well as individual student pieces. Using digital design technology, the piece visually communicates a hidden message. The masterpiece includes all 236 student names, and the individual pieces are a series of 28 questions -- most are single word responses (we believed in keeping it simple!). Due to the complexity of the piece, it can take years to decipher it all -- scholars will work diligently to decode (and what an in-home party talking point!). When finally decoded, you never know what you might learn!
